Guest guest
This was neat. I had to vacuum up a rather large spill of various aromatic herbs, including lots of lavender buds .. and now my vacuum cleaner smells like lavender when I vacuum! I wonder if vacuuming up a small EO impregnated tissue would be a good way to start off any fresh bag! And while we're on the subject of vacuums ... does anyone know of a good one for folks with long hair .. I have to go through the annoying ritual of cutting my hair off the beater bar practically every time I am done vacuuming as my hair is almost waist length and apparently sheds a lot! *lol* *Smile* Chris (list mom - shvitzing like a boiled matzoh ball - and I haven't even gone to the gym yet today! Its summer here already!)

I have a wonderful rubber bristle broom that I got for about $10 at BB & B. This broom grabs up the hair so easily, I just quickly " rake " the carpet first. This is so much easier than cutting it off the beater that the extra pass with the broom is well worth it. Gail
Guest guest
Hi Chris, I do this regularly. I use a cotton ball on which I've dripped some EO, and put it in my vacuum's filter chamber. It works very well. jaime in California
Guest guest
For me I just use the hard floor setting which turns of the beater/roller/power head.
