Guest guest
Hey Christy, >>Don't be so positive yet .. it might not be available. ;-) I had to >>pull in a lotta markers to get that 350 kilos last year. My trip to >>Isparta in May will determibe how much (if any) I get this year. > > Good luck!!! Thankee ma'am. :-P > I remember your posts last year about how hard you had to fight just to > get what you got, squabbling over price. We appreciate your efforts. Your appreciation is appreciated fer'shur. Unfortunately, I was not able to get what I wanted last year .. I got 1/3 of what I wanted. I was shooting for a metric ton .. hoping for 500 kilos .. and got 350. Quality Turkish Rose Hydrosol .. that is .. Hydrosol that has not been adulterated with 50% or more of distilled water .. is not a product one can bargain for anymore .. its a seller's market. I remember days past when barrels I purchased cost me more than the product in the barrel. Of course, as is so with any product that is heavy but inexpensive .. the lion's share of the cost is in the international and domestic shipping .. plus the Humma-Humma one goes through to get it cleared at the entry port. I recently bought over 35 kilos of fairly costly EO from England and approximately the same volume of fairly inexpensive Rose Wax from Turkey .. but the international shipping costs from the gate of the producer's warehouse to the front door of my store were approximately the same. Customs Clearance and domestic forwarding costs were identical. I'm going to talk about shipping costs a bit more in the next post. I want to keep the subjects in an order that they can be easily retrieved from the archive .. so hang on y'all. ;-) > Christy Y'all keep smiling. :-) Butch http://www.AV-AT.com
