Please Help answer some questions?

Recently I fell and broke my ankle; I needed emergency surgery to

correct the bones. I had three places that broke, and they inserted

screws in all three places to help hold the ankle together. All six

of the screws are permanently in my ankle.

I am in Physical Therapy now, and my therapist used

a wonderful beeswax, mineral oil type balm for the stiffness, and to

massage the muscles in my ankle. (The incisions healed great, and

I'm using a cane now.)

Most of the information on the label of course was not available, it

was a trademarked compound, but it was a wonderful petroleum type

balm, and it did say beeswax and mineral oil on the ingredients.

Does anyone have any suggestions on how to make something like this?

I do have scars left from the surgery, and I had the surgery in

February this year, so I don't want to make anything that would give

me an infection due to the incisions on both sides of the ankle.

I'd really appreciate any help. I will go thru the files and look,

but thought I'd ask some professionals on this list for some advice

before attempting to make anything.
