Yeah, what she said--I mix lavender buds with the cedar chips and use

a little of both Cedar EO and Lavender EO. That reminds me--time to

make me some new sachets for the new house's closets :)

They are also very toxic. I make an herbal moth repellent of 2 ounces

each of dried rosemary and mint, 1 ounce each of dried thyme and

lavender, 1/2 ounce cloves.

 

It's important to know that these will not kill moths or their

larvae. You need to clean the garment before storage to make sure you

don't have any eggs on it. Then seal it in a plastic bag with the

herbs. I make a big batch and fill heat seal tea bags with it. Just

tuck one in with each woolen item. You can also hang it in the closet.
