Guest guest
Get greener, help the planet by reducing your consumption of " stuff " , recycle, and generally try to have more awareness. Here's some sites with information on how-to. http://www.earthsite.org/ http://www.earthday.net/ http://www.carbonfund.org/site/ http://www.nrdc.org/?gclid=COCjwubp04sCFRtuSgodSzzyXw Feel free to add any other links that you feel help raise awareness of ecological issues that we can address as individuals. It all starts with one person making a change. I was at the first Earth Day, 1970 on Belmont Plateau in Fairmont Park, Philadelphia. I found a little item written by someone who was there as a young child http://tinyurl.com/2p9rol and her memory is correct: it was more of a celebration, a recognition of how beautiful the Earth was, we weren't so worried or fearful about its fate as we are now. We were concerned about environmental issues, but we were hopeful stuff could be " cleaned up " with our efforts. How naive. We haven't been vigilant enough, and the Earth is suffering. Here's a Time magazine write up on the birth of Earth Day: http://www.time.com/time/magazine/article/0,9171,909135,00.html Time for action. of Natural Perfume Artisan Natural Perfumers Guild http://ArtisanNaturalPerfumers.org Natural Perfumers Community Group Natural Perfumery Blog http://AnyasGarden.Blogspot.com/
