Guest guest
Hi Ya'll I just returned from a seminar in Austin. It was held at The Crossings, which is the premo gathering place (in Austin) for us " greenies " . The entire facility is on top of a hill and all the property is in a nature reserve. They include all meals - 3 a day (AWESOME FOOD!!!) in the price of the room and their spa is to die for. The HUGE patio outside of the dining area has views of Lake Travis. The Crossings is a conference center and many of the people that work there have been employees since they opened. They are so sweet and helpful. It is beautiful and very peaceful. They offer all kinds of free classes to take and their pool and spa area is complimentary to all guests. Spa services are extra, of course, but very reasonable. I spoke to their manager and he said that with as few as 15 rooms being booked that a FREE conference room would be available. A special note...Austin traffic is about 5 times worse than Houston and the airport is located in the FAR west side of town. To get information from the Crossings, their toll free # is 1-877-944-3003. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me. Guest guest
hey Ro I went and checked out their website. Very Impressive. I couldn't find their rates though. One thing me old mam taught me (and she'd slap me for calling her that), " if you have to ask the price, you can't afford it. " But on the off chance that they are just shy, do you remember how much it cost to stay there? K On 4/24/07, Ro Cazenave <cajunro wrote: > > . > > > -- Cheers!
