Guest guest
Well, the youngest son passed it on to the older son, who passed it on to his father and after dealing with three sets of eyes I finally have it. >sigh< the eye was so swollen this morning I couldn't hold it open, it's now open half way. I've been going through Rose hydro like it's free. also after talking to Chris last nite (which was fun), I took some Oregano with sugar this morning. The last time I tried it I did it with honey. Let's put another fairytale to rest, that is NOT a good way to take Oregano. I filled half a spoon with honey, one drop of O, covered it with more honey and suck down... bad thing about honey, it's sticky and doesn't go down fast enough... burned me little mouth (HA, Little! HA HA). It wasn't so bad that I would never do it again, but it would take something pretty serious for me to face it again. Chris expained the sugar... half a teaspoon of sugar, oregano, cover with sugar, followed by big glass of water. Other than the fact that I accidently got three drops on the spoon, worked pretty good. went down fast enough to hardly burn. The downside is that my stomach was empty so the oil was kicking around on an empty stomach. for those of you who have yet to experience that pleasure, feels like asprin on an empty stomach... not pleasant, but that was soon remedied. the Ickies are now in BOTH my husband's eyes, so I talked him into the Oregano as well... I gotta get him out of the house and back to work. >sigh< Having said all that, that was a couple of hours ago for me, my eye is now open half way and after another rose bath is feeling better. I hope I can get through this with only the one eye. As to the allergies. Thank you all who replied and I'm an idiot. I should have mentioned that I was talking about seasonal allergies, hayfever garbage. Right now I pop two Benydryl tablets when I'm starting to feel the eye burn or the sinus pressure. Has been working nicely. anywho, that's me little update for now. I'm off to research drury hotels in Austin, see if there is more than one and where the best location would be. K -- Cheers! [Dave:] Herb Pharm is a brand of herbal tinctures and extracts, you should be able to find them at most any health food store. They market a tincture of rue and fennel that is wonderful for the eyes. You put a few drops in a little water, and then use it like eye drops. I’ve cleared up a couple of nasty infections with this stuff. Guest guest
Thanks Dave I can't go into a shop right now, people would run screaming. ;-) But when this is over I'll go to the little shop that sells this kind of stuff and see what they have.
