Guest guest
Dear Members: A little intro for those here who don't know me -- I'm Anya, the list mom for the Natural Perfumery group, and I'm a moderator here and longtime contributor. I have something very exciting to share with everyone here, so here's the AD not many saw coming ;-). After thirty years of collecting, studying, using and blending the beautiful naturals, and 15 years in business producing them,*plus* five years running this dynamic group are now all coming together in my just-opened NP Consulting Services. Please visit http://anyasgarden.com/consult.htm to learn more. Two years ago, Kathleen Petrides asked me to write an article on the evolution of aromatherapy into natural perfumery - for those who want to follow this path, of course. Here's the article on Aromatic Sage: http://www.aromaticsage.com/am.htm I like surprises, and I hope you do, too, and I'm hoping this opportunity to study natural perfumery excites you as much as it excites me -- I've decided to offer classes. Not many know I was an Adjunct Professor at Florida Atlantic University in the Masters program for land planning and design. I really didn't like standing in front of a class for three hours, so I just didn't want to teach. Well, the internet, and demand from natural perfumers who need to heighten their skills has changed all that. Excited about the classes? Sorry - they're not ready yet. Read below for the tentative schedule. For the intermediate or advanced perfumer who may be hitting some roadblocks with their blends and businesses, I'm now offering consultation services, and that starts immediately.. So, for the beginners it will be by either July or August 1st that I will be offering long-distance learning classes via the internet. Many details still to be worked out, but I there is such a need for this, and because I get great feedback from my casual teaching and official mentoring, I want to reach out to everyone. So no matter if you're in Berlin, Buffalo or Brazil, we'll be able to interact and have great teaching sessions on the internet. There is a 10% discount on the web prices for anyone on this group. Just mention it when you write and I'll invoice you at the reduced rate. Hope y'all think this is as big a step forward for NP as I do. I've gotten so many requests over the years for NP classes by folks writing to http://naturalperfumery.com it isn't funny, and in fact it's sad, because if they can't travel, they can't take classes for the most part. Stay tuned for updates and feel free to gear up your skills level -- we need more natural perfumers in the world! of Natural Perfume Artisan Natural Perfumers Guild http://ArtisanNaturalPerfumers.org Natural Perfumers Community Group Natural Perfumery Blog http://AnyasGarden.Blogspot.com/
