Guest guest
Hi everyone, Recently I've had folks ask me why the alba rose hydrosol (and oil) is more costly than the damacena rose hydrosol (and oil). There is in fact a reason It takes approximately 4 metric tons (4,000 kilograms or 8,820 pounds) of handpicked, in the morning, Rosa damascena blossoms to produce one kilogram (2.205 pounds) of Rose Otto. Rosa alba is also handpicked in the morning only. It has an oil production yield 40% LESS than that of the damascena variety. Also, it is a much more rare variety of rose. Those two factors combined explain why alba rose products are even costlier than those of the damascena rose. Truly, the oils and floral waters from both varieties of these roses are precious and rare delights that were once available to only royalty and the wealthiest people in the world. We " commoners " are very fortunate to live in an age where we can treat ourselves and " take time to stop to smell the roses " at any time of the day or night, year round! In fact I'm going to go spritz myself with some right now! *Smile* Chris (list mom) Organic Rose Hydrosol SALE Don't Even THINK You're Gonna Find It So Inexpensive Again! http://www.alittleolfactory.com
