Hey Chris,

Dang gal .. you took that crap kinda seriously .. huh? I have a much

simplier solution to life's hassles .. let it hang out now and then.

Ain't much bureaucratic crap I can do late afternoons .. and I'm tired

of messing with boxes and such .. so a couple of hours from now I'm

gonna go sit outside the Papsi Pub .. have a few cold Efes Beers .. an

Akya Fish fillet with a great salad .. and take it easy till time to

kick it off again tomorrow. ;-)

Yep .. its taking me perzackly where I wanna go .. down South near

Kentucky Lake and Land Between the Lakes. Gonna be a Redneck VIP in

that little town of 9,800 + folks. ;-)

> Good luck with the move .. both of you!

Thankee ma'am .. either way it goes .. good luck or bad .. won't

matter much cause those things that are irreplaceable .. like photos

and some papers and such .. are going by US Mail through the APO ..

rest of the crap is all insured .. door to door.

I reckon the only bad thing that could happen to me now .. after being

here 19 + years this trip .. would be to get hit by a dang taxi cab or

blown up by some idiotic Islamic terrorist during the final days of my

time in country. ;-)

>>I believe that positive thinking gives us a sense of relief in the

>>crazy world of 2007. For example .. many folks are worried about

>>becoming one of the many victims of crime (rape, robbery, murder,

>>terrorism, etc.). when in reality we should do their best to avoid

>>placing themselves in an environment or situation where we are likely

>>to become same .. and learn to defend ourselves and our loved ones

>>(i.e., learn weapons safety and keep our piece locked and loaded) ..

>>and hope for good luck.

>>

>>Positive thinking is a good thing. Example .. feeling safe is one

>>part diligence and one part fantasy.

>>

>>packers coming on 16 May. I'm jumping through my butt now. Going

>>through boxes of crap I've accumulated since 1988 .. selling or giving

>>away the last few pieces of furniture or 220V electric stuff I don't

want

>>to take with me .. gotta get a new passport and a will and retired

military

>>ID card .. all are outdated or about to expire .. gotta do a lotta

customs

>>humma-humma involving Noters and Muhtars and other useless officials ..

>>then after all that gotta do a trip to the Rose Fields .. then the fun

>>begins .. get on the plane, land in Atlanta .. buy a car .. pick the

family

>>up at Dulles a few days later .. travel to Tennessee and buy a home

... then

>>figure out how we're gonna live till household goods arrive (while

in the

>>military we could send via air hold baggage .. but too costly for

out of

>>pocket expense), and the above just touches the tip of the iceberg.

>>

>>Fun time it is fer'shur and with a positive attitude, chin tucked low,

>>shoulders squared and aching muscles .. I'm leaning forward in the

>>saddle and getting there slowly but surely. ;-)

Kathleen,

If that's what you glean from it then it is just that. I think it's a way

to help people know that they really do have control without actually having

to hold on to something. It's a way to stop fearing everything. Humans as

a rule have seen themselves separate from all that is for a very long time.

The point is we are all energy. Our thoughts are energy. If we are aware

of what we are doing, we can change our thoughts and change our lives.

That's not to mean we will not have tragedy or whatever, because a lot of

humans equate change with tragedy. It really is a great big message of

having faith in one's self as opposed to having faith in things. If we buy

into the world being all bad all the time then that's what we will see.

Just like finding money on the ground. If we are inadvertently looking for

it, we'll find it eventually.
