Gosh, Macha -- the woman you described who has done all those things --

watch out -- she's clearly a con artist. You never know how far those

people will go to con others. Keep an eye on her.

Agreed.

I was fairly well acquainted with this woman and her partner and did actually

believe her Ph.D. in anthropology until she started talking about " flying black

ops in Viet Nam and Laos...and being a guest at the Hanoi Hilton " . I come from

a long and proud line of military men (sadly no women yet) and my father is a

Special Forces vet. I smelled a con instantly, checked with the univerity she

claimed her degree from. They don't even have an anthropology department. I

never even bothered to check on the neurosurgery part after that.

The troubling part to me is that she does have an aromatherapy school and

healing center. She, her partner and the two partners of the school they

attended are part of a group of people lobbying the state lawmakers for

licensing and regulation of aromatherapy in Florida (or so they claim). Part

of the certification requirements for both of the schools is that you must

purchase your oils from them. See where this has the potential to go?

It seems a little out of balance to me, but it's always the crazies who have

the resources to potentially make the laws...
