Guest guest
Hi Kirstin, much appreciated faithful customer It is all subjective to personal tastes and individual noses, but one professional perfumer I know has described the scent of white Alba Rose, to her nose, as having a subtle powdery note and spiciness to it that she did not find in the pink Damascena Rose variety. I have also seen scent of white Alba Rose described as being " deeper and more innocent " than pink Damascena Rose. On the other hand you have someone like my hubby who can't tell the difference between Lemongrass, Lemon Myrtle, Lemon Balm and Lemon Verbena *lol* To a person like that .. a Rose is a Rose, be it Damascena, Alba, Centifolia, or otherwise {grinz}. Once again - it is all subjective to personal taste, but I'd say that if I were looking for a fabulous Rose, the Damascena is the way I'd go. If I were looking for a fabulous Rose PLUS something that is a little different, quite a bit more rare and ultra precious, I'd go for the Alba I hope that helped some! *Smile* Chris (list mom - who got to bathe in a tub full of Damascena Rose Hydrosol - twice - and has been hooked ever since! {grinz} Traditionally Grown Natural Unrefined Rose Hip Seed Oil On Special Through May http://www.alittleolfactory.com > > Christine - > > Being somewhat of a newbie, but one who orders your products faithfully.. could you please give me a quick run-through of what the difference is between the two rosas? > > Thanks! > Kirstin > >
