Guest guest
I found this article very interesting. Some of the things mentioned I’ve been doing for years. My mom, who lived through the Great Depression, was a stickler for economies. She would follow us kids around and turn out lights, and I guess some of it sunk in. The article mentions saving water from the shower in a bucket for shaving. I would never do that. I have simply shaved in the shower for 40 years now. We use natural or non-electric lights whenever possible. We do not have the TV on when we are not watching – which is seldom. The point is, we can worry about what the government and the big corporations are doing, and we should. But at the same time, the real change in society’s paradigms will come when these changes come from the grassroots.
