[RadioactiveTN] Fascinating Barbecue in Memphis!!!

 

 

 

Dear Friends and Colleagues,

 

The 3rd Annual Community Barbeque of Defense Depot Memphis TN- Concern Citizen

Committee & Youth Terminating Pollution will continue to inform the community

around local and national environmental justice issues along with the programs

YStart! ©, Truth of the Light, Catch them Before they Fall, Follow that BOMB ~

From the Cradle to Grave, Each one Teach One. This year's themes Linking

Environment to Our Health and Linking the Environment to Violence and the

Criminal Justice system D. U. workshop will be held on June 20 tru. 23.2007

 

This event requires a tremendous commitment from community organizers and

volunteers, who not only prepare for months to have the stamina to complete this

event, but also raise a minimum of $25,000 in donations just to participate

because the Annual Community Barbeque is free to our poverty stricken community

and continues to show growth from 595 participant the first year, 980 the second

year, and this year we are expecting 1,500 participants!

 

This year, we are expecting at least 1500 members of the community to attend the

3rd Annual Community Barbeque! We've made this commitment and need your help to

meet our goal of $25,000, so that we continue our work of informing the

community of environmental justice issues, workshops crime and violence, job

fair, health fair, and training that is free for the community.

 

Friends and Colleagues, by giving to the 3rd Annual Community Barbeque of

Defense Depot Memphis TN- Concern Citizen Committee & Youth Terminating

Pollution, you'll be supporting an annual event with that does outreach in

workshops in environmental justice, trainings, leadership development and to

continue the programs that have been a beacon of hope for our environmentally

impacted community by the NPL Superfund site Defense Depot Memphis TN.

 

Please take this opportunity to support the 3rd Annual Community Barbeque of

Defense Depot Memphis TN- Concern Citizen Committee & Youth Terminating

Pollution. Your donation will do so much to help true social change in the

environment by the people most affected actively participating in solutions for

true justice.
