Hi...this recipe for mouthwash was posted on the Chinese Healing discussion

list....any opinions ?

Making your own special mouthwash with Neem (Ayurvedic herb that kills

everything) Myrrh,and White OaK Bark (tightens)You can also throw in Goldenseal.

 

Just open the caps and drop into a glass of water they will dissolve in

a short period of time. Rinse often for a marvelous tightener, natural

anti-botic, cleanser etc,

Just as an FYI, have you ever smelled Neem? LOL!! A friend of mine

tried brushing her teeth with neem and thought she was going to throw up

her brains!! Sorry, couldn't put that into better words!! She

called me instantly to ask me why I did not tell her that Neem was

sooooo awful tasting!! I told her I didn't think she was going to put

it in her mouth!! LOL!! I asked her if she thought the smell would be

any different once she put it in her mouth? I have made a type of rinse

for a customer with Neem, but I mixed it in a carrier oil with a little

bit of Peppermint and Spearmint to help with the taste of the Neem.

Looking at the ingredients below with Myrrh, White Oak and Goldenseal, I

don't think this is going to taste especially to nice!! It might be

very good for your mouth and teeth....but....have fun!!

You can buy neem extract which doesn't stink. It is black. Doesn't taste

all that bad either.
