Guest guest
I always pick mine before they blossom or 'head them off'. Pull the blossom off and they keep growing because you interrupted their life cycle. Plants grow from seed, blossom, produce seed and die. By pulling the blossom off, the plant has to try and keep growing to produce seed Paula Coon www.farmfreshsoapsandcandles.com farmfresahsoapsandcandles Hi All, When is the best time to harvest herbs? I would like to dry them I have thyme which is starting to flower, sage that has already flowered, fennel, lovage and a huge clary sage plant. Is it possible to still dry these since they have flowered or are flowering? Any help would be greatly appreciated Vickie
