turkish delight recipe - hydrosols question

Thanks for the info! I love Turkish delight but hate all the " flavorings

identical to natural " in commercially-manufactured ones.

 

A question in this regard. My favorite Lebanese store carries " rose

water " , " orange blossem water " and some such, very cheap. The list of

ingredients lists nothing but rose water, orange blossom water etc. I've

been wondering for a while if what they sell is what we know as

hydrosols or is it something else. Would love to buy some for cooking.

 

Anybody here in the know?
