Gearing Up For The Holidays?

I know it sounds crazy to be thinking of " the holiday season " when it is

the middle of July, but in no time it will be here, and for the business

owner (retailer, wholesaler, manufacturer, etc ..) it is either already

upon us or literally right around the corner.

 

So, what is everybody working on?

 

Personally, I am getting together a web site for my new company

(debuting Autumn 2007), refining the offerings, bringing in new

packaging (some beautiful eco-friendly stuff!) and hammering out

marketing strategies. Busy busy!!!

A new company? Sounds exciting, can't wait to hear about it.

 

Yes! I knew I wasn't the only one planning for the holidays...

 

This is the month I get my calendar set up for the rest of the year, and

start my gift lists. Then I usually buy a few bits every month. I always

say I am going to start my gift-making, too, but I never get to that

until September, at the earliest.

 

Anyone do a Christmas in July party? I always thought about trying one, and

would like to hear how they've worked for others.

October is just about booked with shows, November has 2 so yes I have been

getting ready for the Holidays all year already! Have at least 80 soaps to

shrink the packaging on - 6 batches ready for wrapping and more batches to

make this weekend. As the time nears I will be busy making fresh batches of

lotions! I am very excited since I just got accepted at a very large show!

This has totally gotten me re-motivated!! )
