Well, it seems I'm slightly allergic to one of the kittens.

I think it's Boo. When I was sleeping a couple of nights ago, I guess my

eyes were twitching and he pricked my eye lid, It's been swelling up the

past couple of days and today was pretty bad... wasn't sure what it was so I

took some benydrill... swelling started to go down... I've just taken some

more and am headed back to bed, as soon as the little monsters stop dancing

for joy in their clean cat box... >SIGH< We'll see what the swelling is like

in the " moaning " . And if you've got kids and you've got to get them up and

ready for school, you know why it's called " moaning " and not morning! ;-)

********** It sounds more like it might be the stratch by dirty claws that did

it.

A cats claws are used to bury the " you know what " in the litter box and they

carry a ton of germs.

Did you clean out the wound with soap and water or peroxide ?

You could have Cat Scratch Fever. My Aunt got that from a cat scratch

and she was older and really reacted. She had to have medical

attention. Cat claws are terribly dirty.

Kathleen,

I agree with the others here. You don't want to mess with kitty

scratches getting infected, especially around the eyes!

Take care of that wound the same way you would if you got cut by a rusty

nail in a dirty dumpster.

ummmmmm I am?

LOL! Seriously, I am dealing with it, the same way I do with a cut etc. I

ignore it until I can't anymore.

No scratch... just swelling which goes down when I take benydryl. Which in

turns makes me sleepy! YAWN!!!

My sisters daughter got it when she was little and got really sick.

If you still have problems on Monday I would call your doctor.

Good luck,
