Guest guest
Blue Black Hair Colour: with thanks from Erin who along time ago shared this with me as we applied it to my hair. It truly is the nicest blue black hair colouring I have ever come across. It can also be done using black commercial hair dye and adding the basil and or walnut skins. enjoy Leslie INGREDIENTS: 1-2 green walnut skins 3-4 large fresh basil leaves 1 teaspoon black henna powder 1 tablespoon ground oris root put the walnut skin and basil into mortar and pestle and pound till a paste. Add the henna and oris root and grind till well mixed. Add a little water or strong black tea to form consistency desired although the basil and walnut skins should provide enough moisture to make into a paste. Apply thoroughly to damp hair and warp in cling film or use a shower cap to keep warmth and to stop it getting on anything. Apply with gloves and use some lanolin or some-such like Vaseline applied around the hairline and on the ears to prevent messy looking blotches. To make this more blue add extra basil. More Walnut skin makes it more black. LOL
