Guest guest
I used to be in this breeders directory and will be again. Natural dog rearing, raw food, little or no vaccines is what I would recommend. Very interesting articles too there especially on fabric softner. You may not find a lab there, but it is the best possible start. I do know of two breeders in Mi., but I wouldn't want to recommend them even though they are beautiful dogs because they vaccinate, over vaccinate and feed grocery store crap yuck! http://www.naturalrearing.com/articles/MarinaZacharias/HealthyBreeding ..HTM http://www.gopetsamerica.com/dog-health/healthy-feeding.aspx Never checked these breeders out, have this site for a different reason, but it may help you in your quest. my 2 favoite doggie sites for when you do get a puppy and want to keep him/her healthy! The 1st link, are so friendly and helpful, they bend over backwards. Extremely quick shipping. http://wolfcreekranch1.tripod.com/animal_nutrition.html they have info for everything! http://www.shirleys-wellness-cafe.com/ Feeding raw info: Consider the cost of good food, it's an investment. http://www.google.com/search?hl=en & rls=IBMA%2CIBMA%3A2006-34%2CIBMA% 3Aen & q=raw+diet+for+dogs http://www.diamondpaws.com/health/barf.htm http://www.njboxers.com/faqs.htm I want one of this guys dogs real bad! Have for a long time. Little vaccine, raw fed, generations deep! Gads talk about healthy! I *HIGHLY* recommend thoroughly ravaging his site, especially the free training ipods, even if you are not looking for those breeds, training and behavioural problems are not breed specific, I have seen labs put down for aggression, one was three weeks ago. http://leerburg.com/articles.htm http://www.leerburg.com/articles.htm#workpup For the squeemish with raw meat, grain free foods for dogs; and grain free " raw " kibble: http://www.waggintails.com/store/index.php?disp=43 http://www.naturesvariety.com/ http://www.thehonestkitchen.com/index.shtml Don't know if any of that will help you find what you are looking for but I sure hope it does, and many, many more people too. All of this information came after hours of research through the years as different situations/problems arose, some of it happenstanced accidently, and having it onhand has blessed me ever since many times over. As a matter of fact I used this opportunity to put this much of it anyway on one page and copy and paste to give to my puppy buyers, friends, family and fellow breeders. It is an important dicision. bt' , " Carol Monster " <monstercarol wrote: > > Butch about the dogs, > > I have to agree with you that pets are so good for children, and their > parents!
