OMG how generous of you. I would absolutely LOVE to accept your offer

and will be only too happy to pay for it and shipping.

How absolutely kind of you!

You are so welcome for the reply for your daughter. I would do it

again, truly.

Funny thing about Germany, they actually do protect their people, I

am sure she will be fine if seeing a German Dr.

Ask your daughter if she notices at all microwaves there. These

attack the thyroid, heart and brain. Far as I know microwaves came

from Germany originally but are now banned there and Russia. Reports

and studies are buried deep here in the states but possible to obtain.

Very warm regards,

bt'

You know, with the internet Ted Turner's quote is certainly losing

strength, isn't it?

Maybe some of you could post your recipes for liquid soap? I'm a hp soaper, and

have been wanting to make liquid soap for shampoos for our family - so any help

is appreciated....the easier the better....right now, I've got on hand Olive

Oil, Palm, Coconut, Jojoba, Avocada butter, shea butter, castor and

grapeseed.....can we do something with that?

thanks

Pam,

The one thing that you have to have is Potassium hydroxide. (KOH) that

makes the soap liquid (actually more like a paste.)

I'll see if I can find one of my shampoo recipes that I started with and

post it here. (the base recipe usually makes about 6 gallons of shampoo out

of the paste)

And as far as the time it takes to make it... (I make sure it's good and

cooked so it takes a bit of time for me to make sure it's done right (for my

taste) I get a little obsessive when it comes to making soap and making

sure it's done.)

Pam, I do not know if you have Catherine Failor's book on Liquid soap or not,

but she has some very nice recipes in there. I have made one with just coconut

and castor oil and another with coconut, castor and palm. This weekend I am

going to do with with some shea in it. There is a great calculator at

www.summerbeemeadow.com . Have fun and let us know how it turns out.

I made 1/2 gal and so I used 17.5 oz Coconut Oil, 1.5 oz Palm Oil and 5.5 oz

Castor Oil. It turned out very clear and I love the way it feels.

I have Tamanu, coconut, a little olive left, palm, shea and castor,

there are a few others but they are either over a year old, or real

small amounts. But I am going to go shopping tomorrow or the day

after and pick up some more. I am making a list. Avacado sounds nice.

I saw a few today I am looking forward to trying, like macadamia.

What's hp soap?
