Guest guest
Hi Anita: Wrote a long message yesterday and had lost my connection. Hit send before reconnecting and gobbled it up. (( We have carried the Reeds, containers and oils for several months. Here is a bit of info from mpov. We never used the base. We used either Fragrance oils straight, eo's straight or mixed with a fractionated coconut. We never carried Fragrance oils until folks began asking for certain scents. I'm still stuck with some of them where folks never came back to pick up what they wanted me to order, so I would be very careful as to what I would get into stock for folks. Reeds are Bamboo. They probably come in more lengths than this, but normally come in 10 " and 12 " sizes that I know of. Try to buy in quantity if possible, at least by the 100. It's recommended to either use 5 or 10 in a bottle or 6 or 12. When the end of reeds is saturated, you switch them to the other end. Instead of the buying the expensive diffuser bottles, we have friends that seek them out out flea markets, yard sales, etc. They try to get them for 25-50 cents, then we do a trade or I pay up to $1.00 for each one. This way each one is unique and low cost too. Each one has to be glazed inside at the least to keep the oils from seeping out. Glass doesn't matter. IMHO, folks charge too much for some of kits, it's a passing fad, and a large percentage of folks prefer their electric diffusers instead. My selling points are: No problems going off and leaving a diffuser on with the reeds, they can be closed up in specific rooms if you have sensitive animals, people, etc., and No oxygen loss from using a burner with candles involved. I've always believed that candles take out oxygen out of the air. These same points can be use for burnless candles. There are converts to be had tho. I left some excess oil, reeds, and bottle with my neigbor and she is converted, plus her daughter, & neice too. They bought/traded some goods for some of my fragrance oils that I definitely wanted rid of....BAG We closed our retail space for the Summer, and maybe beyond. The managers wouldn't sublease my shop for the Summer only so.... If you want to try these without a major influx of money, we might can do a deal with my supplies. I'm just not sure I want to add them to the website. It's undergoing construction and I've got my hands in too many products and fires this season. I probably have up to a 150 +/- reeds & some bottles, maybe even a few fragrance oils too that I would be willing to sell or trade for something yummy. <grin> Contact me if interested. Hope this helped a bit, A most fragrant day to ya, deb Park yourself in front of a world of choices in alternative vehicles. Visit the Auto Green Center.
