Lunar Eclipse of Full Moon - the Jasmine Moon

I got up at 4:00 a.m. to view the lunar eclipse this morning. Slow,

mysterious, hypnotic. The psychic, emotional, dreamy Moon in Pisces,

full and glowing. The shadow of the Earth slowly dropped down over the

glow/globe, and the final result:

A red/orange moon the color of jasmine concrete and absolute. The

jasmine is wildly blooming in my yard, and so the color of the heart of

the pure white jasmine flower, revealed even when extracted in alcohol,

the red/orange throbbing sexual narcotic heart was bathing this part of

the world in its magic.

I don't think it was ever called the Jasmine Moon, but that is what it

is to me, today. Nice memory.

Hi Anya how it going in Miami Shores, I have to agree with you it was a very

nice eclipse

we are not that far from each other so I'm sure you had the same clear sky

we had

in Miami Lakes, it was awesome. Your garden sounds like heaven.

My Jasmine and Gardenia are in full bloom also the scent and the silence

at that time of the morning is something to remember and go back to

when we are all stressed out. Have a nice one.

I woke up at 3 and 4 last night. I didn't bother getting out of bed, just

rolled over, put on me glasses and looked. I couldn't set my alarm clock,

but fortunately I'm one of those folk with a great built in clock. I just

tell myself what time to wake up and bingo... the only time it doesn't work

is if I'm REALLY tired.

The Moon was really pretty, an erie shade of red/orange. I'm glad we had the

clear skies last night and that I didn't miss it. It was definately worth

waking up for!

That eclipse was so beautiful. We had gentle wisps of clouds move in and

around the reddish-brown moon.

Definitely worth missing sleep!

[Dave]: I'd actually intended to stay up and watch the beginning, but I

went to bed early. I get up at 4:30 every day, and the first thing I did

was go outside, but alas! Where I live, there's a big hill just to the

west, and the moon was already below my horizon. I've seen several lunar

eclipses, but everyone says this one was lovely. Don't forget, there's

another one in six months!
