OT - Glue removal

Hi everyone,

 

Well, I pulled a good one a couple of days ago and still haven't found

a way out of this sticky mess.

 

I have been sorting through stuff and rearranging a storage area. In

so doing I managed to set a toilet riser leg smack in the middle of a

fresh,just out of the box, mouse glue trap. Yes, you read that right.

Now I have soaked, and dug, soaked more (in alcohol) and I can't remove

all the glue. What I can remove from the bottom of the chair leg ends

up on my hands. I've laughed till my sides hurt but that isn't working

either.

 

What solvent(s) would take this stuff off????

 

I just know someone on this wonderful list will come to my rescue. I

will be forever greatful.
