HI Maggie

 

Based on past experience, I think you're going to have

a hard time finding one gallon jars in amber. Not sure

why that's the case. But you can get one gallon clear

jars at specialtybottles.com and sunburstbottles.com.

Then maybe you could cover the jars with paper or

something to keep out light. Sorry I can't do better

than that.

Thanks everybody, but still no luck. I have some of the 32 oz. packers and the

mouth is too small to dip into with a measuring cup when making recipes, plus

they don't hold anywhere near a pound of anything, leaving you with some stuff

still left in the bag. The search continues . . .

The largest amber wide mouth packer made in the industry is an 80oz/2500ml amber

packer. Most companies only supply these as special order. Send me a private

mail if you would like info on where to get these.
