Even if its not a urinary infection the dog needs an examination by a Vet. Dogs and other pets depend on us to protect them from harm .. just as we protect our children. If the dog should die as a result of not being checked I believe it would cause you a lot of personal grief .. so for your sake as well as the dog's sake .. please consider taking the dog to a Vet .. or at least .. call a Vet and tell him/her about the problem and get their professional advice. Good luck .. and y'all keep smiling. :-) Butch .. http://www.AV-AT.com

Guest guest
Leo Agreed Sandi and Butch. There are some icky things that can go on..pyo, infection that their bodies cannot throw off. (I've got vet tech cert.) But there *are* many antibiotics that will be less likely to make the poor baby sick. We sure don't want her to have to have IV's if we can help it. Please let us know. I'll be thinking about you guys. JS
Guest guest
By chance, do you know your vet well enough to ask them to come take a look, or to offer to pay a tech to come get her? I am disabled and mine have offerred many times to do so. Crossing fingers for you. JS
Guest guest
Leo, this isn't what you really want to hear....get the dog to a vet. She is sick. It isn't the time to start experimenting and could cost her, her life. Guest guest
Our vet does house calls, thank goodness and gives us a pensioner discount on top. Of course we live in a rural setting so naturally there are going to be vetenarians doing calls for cows and sheep, horses and pigs, lamas and emus and all the other amazing things being farmed around here. He also gave us a years supply of all wormers for our doggies. We sure are lucky.
