Guest guest
Just to clarify 's position on this subject. There are hard and fast () rules on forwarding posts. By starting a the Owner agrees to abide by 's Terms Of Service. Within the ToS sets out Group GuideLines (Found here /local/guidelines.html ) See item 11. There is no room for maneuver (nor are there legal issues) around the TOS. They are in place and you either accept them - or don't start a group. If you start a group and ignore the TOS has the rights (and uses them) to simply delete the group if a TOS violation is brought to their attention. The *brought to their attention " is the crux of the matter; many groups have operated for years in violation of TOS and nothing happens because are not aware of it. Because of a recent issue with Freecycle also issued this statement - " values our users and their content. Per the Guidelines, which we've instituted to protect our users', no one can re-post or re-transmit content that belongs to another user without that user's permission. A owner or moderator (or any other user) cannot re-post or re-transmit Groups content to any other site unless the person has the explicit permission of every group member whose content is being re-posted or re-transmitted " .
