Guest guest
I see since I have been quiet on the groups that the con artists are coming out of the woodwork again. There seems to be more people offering aromatherapy courses that are cheap and almost worthless. I have just seen one on offer in Canada for $39.99. There is no way that you will get sound information on such a course. On my web site are two articles over how bad Canadian courses have been and this shows still are. Below are examples of the trash taught on this course: Orange oil is claimed to be: Astringent - It is NOT. Cellulite - Hogwash! Colds/Flu - Orange oil is NOT antiviral. Constipation - Hogwash! Digestion - maybe if consumed, not otherwise. Fever - usually due to a virus so no evidence at all. Female Complaints - What does that mean, dangerously misleading. Mouth ulcers - doubtful. Water Retention - Hogwash. Weight Loss - Hogwash. Eucalyptus oil is stated to be: Anti-Inflammatory - the opposite is the truth. Anti-Viral - the essential OIL is not. Genital Infections - it is illegal in most countries for a complementary practitioner to treat sexually transmitted diseases. Water Retention - Hogwash. Diarrhea - how? These are just a few examples I have taken from claims made on this course providers web site. Clearly the owner has not a clue about what essential oils are or can do. If you take such a course you are getting wrong and dangerous information. Martin Watt http://www.aromamedical.com
