It is so depressing when a nice oil blend or infusion goes rancid. Jojoba and Fractionated Coconut oil are two oils that basically never go rancid (at least I've never experienced or heard of either of those going bad). Also, I, and several of my customers, love to use my Certified Organic Virgin Coconut Oil, which has a very long shelf life (years) and is great if you want a nice, sweet, natural coconut note in your blend. http://alittleolfactory.com/carriers.htm The Virgin Coconut Oil is particularly luscious when our Prime Vanilla Tahitensis Beans are split and infused in the oil http://alittleolfactory.com/aromatics.htm *Smile* Chris (list mom) Organic Virgin Coconut Oil, Vanilla Beans Exotic Aromatics & Fabulous Floral Waxes http://www.alittleolfactory.com Check Out Our Blog! http://alittleolfactory.blogspot.com
Guest guest
Chris, How would you infuse into the coconut? You melt it first? I still have some from a buy you did a while back... ~J~ Don't let your dream ride pass you by. Make it a reality with Autos.
Guest guest
What about olive oil? What's the shelf life on that? Christa
Guest guest
I have read that, if unopened, it averages a shelf life of 18 months from the time it's made and bottled. But you have no way of knowing how long it's been sitting around before you buy it. Patty --- Christa <misseallonardo wrote: > What about olive oil?
