Guest guest
Howdy Sindy, I bow to your wisdom, but like I warned, be careful with the dr pres > meds. They are very dangerous, it also states in the article upon furthur > reading topical use of ciclopirox can also be applied for up to 48 weeks~ > which is also a good choice~I'm for anything other than those dr presc > meds~In fact, I would try Chris' therapy first and fore most~it will save > hundreds of $$ and prolly work just as well~ > thanks for the info, as always you're very informed~ > I thank you ma'am .. and I also would try Chris' product first .. or even Origanum and X-Virgin Olive Oil or Fractionated Coconut .. but if they didn't work I'd then go to a doctor because many chronic " simple " problems ... like stiff neck, abdominal cramps, ear ache, bad breath, jaw pain, fatigue, and so on .. to include nail fungus .. might be symptoms of a more serious problem. I'm lately thinking that folks with such symptoms might have a tough time getting good advice from some doctors .. and maybe there is a need to make demands of them .. rather than requests. It will depend (I think) on how much they think they can make off the exam and on your ability to pay for the games in between. I've been back to the USA just three months .. and I began my first physical exam with the American medical system .. hadn't visited an American civilian doctor since I was 17 .. but I had visited US Military doctors and both Israeli and Turkish civilian doctors. I'm not very impressed with the civilian system here in Paris, TN Perhaps my experiences are not what we should normally expect .. I hope this is the case because I find that the Primary Care Physician I chose is not as interested in giving care as he is in making money. I went in for the first full physical I have had since 1994 .. told him I wanted to be checked from adenoid to urine .. he spent 5 rushed minutes with me and wrote a script for lab tests and a Colonscopy. Next day I fasted and went to the lab and the tech was going to draw blood .. only. Told her I also wanted to give a urine sample .. she said its not on the script and the Doc was not in so she couldn't get it changed. Told her I was a retired US Army Officer and as a Support Commander who had commanded attorneys, doctors, engineers and other specialists, I was not impressed with positions .. I had a low tolerance for mediocrity and no tolerance for inefficiency and she needed to tell this to someone in the clinic who was in a position to make decisions. She did and the urine test was given. A couple of days later I went back to get the results and they wanted me to see a doctor so he could read them .. told them I just needed a copy .. I could read them myself and I would decide if I needed to see a doctor for that .. they were looking for another consultation fee. The results were all normal except for the Cholesterol .. which was no surprise to me. A prescription for Cholesterol med was attached. The Doc had given me a referral for a Colonoscopy .. two weeks later. Yesterday I went to the surgical group for a briefing on this .. waited an hour to see a Doc and he shot the crap with me for 5 minutes .. about Turkey ... then told the nurse to line up the test. Half hour later she comes in with a handful of papers and wanted to read them to me .. didn't let her read them. I'm not an idiot who needs to be spoon fed. The test is lined up for 5 November but I must report to another clinic for briefings prior to that .. more consultation fees. Whether they know it or not I am going to get a prostate test, a chest X-ray, a heart stress test, a computerized audiology test, and any other tests I can think of between now and completion of this exam .. but now I am thinking it might take a friggin year to complete all this and the gummit might wind up paying tens and tens of thousands of dollars. I now have Medicare A & B and Military TriCare for Life so I think they are going to milk the system for all they can. I'm not being a good patient .. the docs seem to be surprised that I call them by their last names .. minus the title .. and I'm not jovial. Its been a lotta years since I routinely wore a stern face and used a commanding voice even saying hello .. but it seemed to work in the lab tests and I think I might have to use it often to get along with these folks who have less education than I do even though theirs is in a field that allows them to be seen as Gawds by the average Hill Billy. I truly pity the less educated folks and those who have to deal with greedy private insurance companies. I believe that it is possible that they could use up their bennies in consultations and never get checked well for the problems or symptoms that they think they might have. I miss the military medical system .. I even miss the Turkish civilian medical system. I went into Haceteppe University Hospital in Ankara 4-5 years ago to see a Dr. Professor Cardiologist lady .. wanted to get a check on my heart. She spent a half hour with me then laid on a half dozen tests which were completed in two days .. then spent another half hour or so with me and all total I paid less than $500. I bet I (the gummit) has paid more than that now and all I have done is give blood and take a pee. Seems to me that this is verging on fraud against the government and I can understand why private medical insurance is so expensive. Sindy > Y'all keep smiling. :-) Butch .. http://www.AV-AT.com
Guest guest
you are 100 % correct on this one too~ it constantly amazes me at our medical system~ but God forbid we go to a free system~ don't even get me started~lol~ I wish we could all go back to the ol country doc that made house calls but that time is long past~ I had the entire side of my face torn out by a dog in 2nd grade, my dad called his military doc, who called in a plastic surgeon friend of his he was in the service with,*(they were both retired) he flew in from CA to sew my face back on~ people look at me now and can't believe my entire face was ripped out by a dog when I was younger~ You can't get that kind of dedicated buddy service any more~It's a shame~ our kids will miss out on so much in life that I feel is so important in the development of their character~~~~ Good Luck Butch with your test~ sounds like your keeping a tight ship and a close eye on em~ you'll need to or you'll just become on of the #'s to em~~~ Sindy - ] Nail Fungus ** Medical System I thank you ma'am .. and I also would try Chris' product first .. or even Origanum and X-Virgin Olive Oil or Fractionated Coconut .. but if they didn't work I'd then go to a doctor because many chronic " simple " problems .. like stiff neck, abdominal cramps, ear ache, bad breath, jaw pain, fatigue, and so on .. to include nail fungus .. might be symptoms of a more serious problem.
