Guest guest
Hello everyone, I had a question about goat's milk lotion and don't know if you can help me or not. I was given a gallon of goat's milk that is frozen. I would like to use it and I am in the lotion making mode right now. Can you use fresh or frozen goat's milk to make lotion? I am assuming that you substitute the goat's milk for water in the recipe, but am not sure. When I made goat's milk lotion in the past, I used powered milk. THANKS! Guest guest
Ro, I am quite sure you can use the frozen goat milk in your lotions - I don't see why not. I would only use 10% goat milk as part of your total water. Heat your milk, water and other water soluble materials to a temperature of 176 and hold for 20 minutes - this part is important to kill bacteria and mold. Hope this helps Vickie -- Tierra De Cabros Goat Milk Bath Products Swaim Family Farm Gladys (Vickie) Swaim http://tierradecabros.com
