Guest guest
Just and FYI, the reason I was asking about this is because I am trying to decide if we went to use a cash register or not. It looks like I will be buying one. ;o) <snip Ro Ro, If you don't want to buy a cash register just use a cash lock box, and a sales receipt book, and a calculator. That way you won't need electricity. That is what I do at the Houston Farmer's Market. Unless people want a receipt, I put all my sales on a page until I fill it, with the date at the top. If you start doing this you will learn what an item is with tax and won't need a calculator ALL the time. Then when I get home I enter all the sales for that week into my Excel program.and I have at lest two copies of my sales for that day, week, month, etc.hope this helps. BTW, how are your sales going in Katy? You can email me privately if you want, or let the group know too. Mine are fair right now, but should be improving. Guest guest
They do make cash registers that work on batteries and are wonderful. They keep all kinds of info on the tapes. http://www.sjgreatdeals.com/roy14508p.html Zo - " Anita Reeves " <anita-r " .
