Reckon I've been out of the American mainstream too long .. I'm not sure

what NSP is. Could be Natures Sunshine Products, National Ski Patrol, New

Mexico or Nebraska State Police, Ngram Statistics Products, or Networker's

Society of Pakistan. ;-)

Lawdy Lawdy Gene .. if I had an extra 2 hours I would be one happy dude. I

neglected my family all day yesterday (for 18 hours) while sitting in front

of this dreaded PC monitor adjusting the prices on my wholesale site ..

except for Patch .. don't have that one fixed yet so I must tell folks I am

Out of Stock until I do. After doing a lot of detailed analysis I found

that I could drop around 75% of them .. left maybe 10% intact and was forced

to raise around 15% of the prices. I finally hit the rack at 0600 this

morning .. had a sore finger from using a hand held calculator and had

crossed eyes from calculating my base costs plus shipping and customs and

such .. from kilograms down to to milliliters .. and I am sure my Web

Mistress got a pain in her neck when she woke up and saw the email with the

changes. ;-)

 

I'm not sure what the movie is about but I would be interested in hearing

about it .. without having to watch it. But the name brings to mind the

German philosophy of Zietgeist .. which sorta means that what we do and

think today is somehow a part of the whole .. the world wide scene that is.

Like .. a Man for His Time and such impacts events outside his area. I

think Christa Maria could elaborate on that.

A nice area Knoxville .. beautiful mountains and I expect the leaves are

beginning to turn there now. Folks from around the USA come to your neck of

the woods to watch Mama Nature do her thing.

 

Weather here in Northwest Tennessee is changing fast too. Neighbors think I

am a Shaman. We hadn't had rain in weeks .. last Tuesday I was out

tilling up some ground .. a neighbor down the road stopped by and was

ribbing me about the dust cloud I was raising .. said he thought there was a

tornado on the way. I jokingly told him I could make it rain .. told him

my Spirit Guide (an American Eagle) always listened to me. I started doing

a Rain Dance .. singing Indian sounding words and such .. and around

midnight it started and rained till morning .. got over an inch .. the

feller came back over on Wednesday and though the skies were clear .. I told

him I'd make it happen again .. did another dance and that night we got over

2 inches. My son thinks my Rain Dance is funny and so I did it again on

Thursday .. weather was clear but later that afternoon we had a rain storm

... high winds .. trees down . .electricity in my end of the county was out

till morning. To make a long story short .. it rained Friday and Saturday

and Sunday and its pouring down now. Told my wife a few days ago that

Henry County oughta pay me for my efforts .. I expect that around now they

would prefer to tar and feather me. ;-)
