Guest guest
Howdy Sandi, Butch, > > Glad to hear that someone in TN is getting rain! I'm in Smithville and > we have gotten nothing today...keeps looking like rain but it is all > staying west of Nashville! > Yep .. that happened to us for around 2 months. Damn........... we need the rain and it's like we have an umbrella over > our area! : - ( > That is EXACTLY what you have .. its what we had too. Went to http://www.city-data.com/ to get Smithville's Zip .. http://www.city-data.com/city/Smithville-Tennessee.html and I can see that y'all are generally below the national average in late September & mid October but things will look up soon. ;-) Then I went to http://www.weather.net/ .. typed in your Zip and I see that you are on the edge of getting thunderstorms this week .. so if its not happening its due to the same umbrella we had over West Tennessee for 2 months .. the stationary front we had finally moved from West to East and now its a big umbrella over your neck of the woods. It sat above all of West and Central Tennessee for months .. rain clouds could not do their thing. Sandi > BlackKat Herbs > http://www.blackkatherbs.com > It will get better in a few days .. I think. Then .. like we want heat when its cold and cooling when its hot .. y'all will be wishing for dry weather again. Meantime .. you might wanna try a little Rain Dance or two .. just babble a bit .. crouch low and then raise up whilst scuffling right and left .. nod your head downward from time to time and raise your arms toward the sky. If you live in the county all will go well and it might rain .. if you live in the city the fellers with white suits and butterfly nets might show up .. but it still might rain and the dances are pretty good exercise in any case. ;-) Y'all keep smiling. :-) Butch http://www.AV-AT.com
Guest guest
Howdy Butch, Well, we got some great rain last night - nice constant rainfall.....we could use about a month of this! Last dry spell we had several years ago, well I did go out and do a rain dance..... and it flooded for days....sooooooo I don't do that anymore! ;-) And believe me, after the 100+ degrees this summer, I am not pining for heat! I want SNOW this winter. I'm originally from Connecticut and then spent 25 years in So Florida....I love the changing seasons and I love snow for Yule! Unfortunately over the past few years we have had little or no snow.... sigh... perhaps this year it will change.... What do ya think?????
