OT: Rain Dances & Weather

Good it is .. still raining here too and supposed to continue through

Friday. That will be the 10th day straight. A month? We can do without

that. ;-)

 

Last dry spell we had several years ago, well I did go out and do a rain

> dance.....and it flooded for days....sooooooo I don't do that anymore! ;-)

Good idea .. we both gotta control our dancing afore some rhubarb farmer

tries to sue us. ;-)

 

And believe me, after the 100+ degrees this summer, I am not pining for

That didn't bother me .. we worked right through it .. drank lotsa Gatorade

though.

 

I want SNOW this winter. I'm originally from Connecticut and then spent

I was born in Nashville (around 93 miles from here) then lived in Guthrie,

KY (around 55 miles from here) from age 8-17 and didn't see any Yankee type

snow .. but I spent 3 years at Ft. Riley, KS where it started snowing in

late October and kept on through late March. Kept a snow shovel in the

house .. many is the day I had to shovel my way from the door to my

vehicle. That I can do without .. but .. I did like the changing

seasons. Spent 3 years at Schofield Barracks, Hawaii .. in Winter I

used to volunteer to escort prisoners to Leavenworth, KS just to see some

cold weather.

Lemme ask my Eagle and I'll get back with you He's not been around for a
