OT: Warning, SCAM ALERT shoppingcartsplus.com and websitedynamics.com

Somebody posted a link to their " services " after Butch asked for

recommendations for webdesign. They advertise hosting and a starter

website design package. THEY ARE A SCAM! I paid my hard earned and

much needed money, only to discover its all smoke and mirrors. There

is no way to reach a human being. There's not even a real email

system on their end. Just a bulletin board! The website builders

(supposed) have email but nobody responds and a voicemail menu

labyrinthe that leads you to a mailbox which nobody ever replies to

either. Lesson learned: its not just the folk that ask for unorthodox

modes of payment that are to be distrusted. Ironically, before I got

to this " company " , there were 2 other people who tried to rip me off.

One guy was supposedly working for a design company in Florida and

when I called I discovered he was not there anymore. The other person

was so blatant. Western Union. Whatever. So far 3 out of 3 was a

scam. I've never had this experience with any other industry. What is

it with this webdesign stuff?!

 

I started an investigation with my credit card company to recoup my

money with the websitedynamics-shoppingcarts fraud. In the meanwhile,

I will do whatever I can so that nobody else I know gets scammed.

People be aware... just because this list has a " family " tone does

not mean that there aren't scammers around. But dontcha worry. Karma

bites hard...
