Guest guest
Howdy Virginia, Hi Butch, > I find the worst part of the whole thing the prep. The procedure > itself is easy. > You are exactly right .. I was very surprised at how simple the test was. The preparation phase is simply a (normally) 24 hour period prior to the procedure where one swallows a couple of medications that empty the bowel .. and they must consume only liquids. The prep phase is merely an inconvenience but it is the worst part and your comment further brings home the point of my original message that folks should not procrastinate .. if one is over 50 they should get the test even if they think they are in the best of health. I put it off for 15 years and I now realize what a foolish decision that was. I might have continued to procrastinate if I had not married and had a son .. and if my buddy in Georgia (a 67 year picture of health whop had a problem and beat it) had not bugged me to get the test. Glad everything turned out well. > Thank you ma'am. I did a Snoopy Happy Dance .. but we gotta go for the test if we wanna dance. :-) Virginia > Y'all keep smiling. :-) Butch http://www.AV-AT.com Howdy y'all, > > This morning I had a Colonscopy .. it was the most simple and > uncomplicated > procedure I have ever experienced .. the ONLY hard part was not being able > to have a cuppa coffee when I woke up. ;-) >
