Guest guest
Hi Y'all! Been workin' like a Trojan lately and have not had any time to post. I have a question about anchoring EO's in your bath salts. We have a Natural Nail Spa & Boutique and of course make all of our products for the boutique. We decided to do some serious remodeling and repackaging of products. We had a line of pure Dead Sea Bath Salts that contained a glorious EO Blend that was in sealed 6oz foil pouches. We decided to tear them open and repackage them into salt tubes for the holidays. Well, one sniff and it was all over! P-U! We thought we'd done the job correctly - put the EO's & Vegetable Glycerin in the Dendritic Salt and toss with the Dead Sea Salts then package. So what have we done wrong? With the exorbitant costs of eo's these days, we don't want to be tossing product every 6 months! No to mention the labels, packaging & labor. Any ideas? Guest guest
Tammy, Why not let the chemists play around with EO's and not the lay person?
Guest guest
Dude! What is your deal??? This is a list DEDICATED to the use and enjoyment of essential oils, herbs, and et cetera. But every post you make is like some harbinger of doom! If you've had some hideous experience with oils, scheisters, snake oil salesmen, or pretty poison, please share your wisdom and enlighten us -- that's what the list is for, spreading knowledge. And anecdotal information is always appreciated. But if you're going to continue to DISCOURAGE any use or investigation or experimentation or questions having to do with essential oils... tell us why! Otherwise, you just appear to be lost in the world of internet newsgroups! Guest guest
Well, Dude it's like this. I'm glad you're all having fun using EO's and FO's. But remember this: there are people out with allergies and sensitivities to one or both. And they can end up in the ER. I'm so sorry to burst your bubble. Now take you little bottle of oil and go play....
Guest guest
Gee whiz. I hate it when people get like this. Well, Dude, this list is where I found out about the dangers and cautions about using EOs. I did it by listening to folks who know more than I do. On this list.
