Maybe I don't really understand your statement but I want to comment

on it anyway. ;-) I attached a part of Tammy's original post so

folks would know what your reply is referring to.

First .. I'm not sure that Tammy is any more of a lay person than

some of the chemists out and about .. that is, assuming that the

modern day definition of lay person is .. " a person who is a non-

expert in a given field of knowledge. " Chemistry is a wide field of

endeavor .. as is producing natural products. Checking her website I

kinda think she has her ducks in line in a lotta areas.

Secondly .. this News Group has lots of expertise in a wide range of

subjects and I'll bet a purty that somebody provides a knowledgeable

reply to her question .. and I'll bet another purty that the one who

answers is NOT a chemist.

Thirdly .. I don't care what a landscape expert thinks about how I

should establish my gardens because everybody does not have the same

tastes, and I would not ask many chemists to answer questions on EO

unless they were trained in Pharmacognosy.

Finally .. maybe a chemist on this list might reply .. if one does I

hope they tell us that they are a chemist .. and if we have chemists

on the list that can't answer the question .. it would be mighty

admirable if they were to say so. ;-)

Y'all have a good one .. and keep smiling. :-)
