Every post you have made lately has in one manner or another assumed

that the President of the United States has more power than he really

has .. and that its the present administration that is responsible for

systems that have been in place for as long as I have been alive.

Bush is not one of my favorite characters but I do understand his

limitations.

 

Do you really believe that any president could push actions through

the Legislative Branch that had negative effects on the BigPharm .. or

the AMA .. or the Oil or Tobacco industries?

 

Money and Power are the Gods of ALL elected officials .. regarding the

present subject, don't hold your breath waiting for major changes in

policy from future Executive or Legislative Branches.

 

I sit back daily and grin like a Cheshire Cat when I think of how

frustrated all the anti-Bush folks are gonna be when nothing changes

and they have to blame someone else. ;-)

 

Me .. I'm just gonna wait for a major catastrophe and watch closely

how our Congress deals with it. Then vote as I can and hope for the

best.
