Bush is not one of my favorite characters but I do understand his limitations. Do you really believe that any president could push actions through the Legislative Branch that had negative effects on the BigPharm .. or the AMA .. or the Oil or Tobacco industries? Money and Power are the Gods of ALL elected officials .. regarding the present subject, don't hold your breath waiting for major changes in policy from future Executive or Legislative Branches. I sit back daily and grin like a Cheshire Cat when I think of how frustrated all the anti-Bush folks are gonna be when nothing changes and they have to blame someone else. ;-) Me .. I'm just gonna wait for a major catastrophe and watch closely how our Congress deals with it. Then vote as I can and hope for the best.
