Guest guest
I just joined and have much to learn. I have experimented for many years, but am just now getting really serious. I spent a long time going through the groups messages and links. I enjoyed them all, especially yours, Butch. (Would you please send me user/password to get into your w/s site?) I hope I am not asking a question that has been answered a million times. I didn't find it, so here goes. I just ordered products on line to make lotions. I noticed a lot of recipes call for preservative. Why is it necessary to add a preservative if essential oils have a antibacterial quality? Does it keep the lotion from going rancid- therefore, a longer shelf life? Thank you for your help. Janie www.sacredartimages.com
