I'm in the middle of finishing up my training sessions for my Denver trip this weekend to train over 100 estheticians and I need some info on the various soap making methods - I have the following but think there may be more I don't know about and can't find reference to on line: CP - Cold Process HP - Hot Process CPOP - Cold Process/Oven Process CPCP - Cold Process/Crock Pot (Do I have that correct?) MP - Melt -N- Pour If y'all have any to add to this list - please send them my way either in here or privately to MudQueen TIA! Guest guest
Hi Tammy, Have a great trip to Denver. Wave hi to the mountains on the horizon from me Looking at that list below .. ya got it pretty good, except the oven process one is usually HPOP (hot process oven process). If I think of any others I'll post 'em. Safe travels. *Smile* Chris (list mom) http://www.alittleolfactory.com , " Tammy Doering " <MudQueen wrote: > > Hi Y'all! > > I'm in the middle of finishing up my training sessions for my Denver trip > this weekend to train over 100 estheticians and I need some info on the > various soap making methods - I have the following but think there may be > more I don't know about and can't find reference to on line: > > CP - Cold Process > > HP - Hot Process > > CPOP - Cold Process/Oven Process > > CPCP - Cold Process/Crock Pot (Do I have that correct?) > > MP - Melt -N- Pour > > If y'all have any to add to this list - please send them my way either in > here or privately to > MudQueen > TIA! > God Bless, > Tammy Doering > The Mud QueenT > www.DeadSeaBulkMaterials.com > (256) 236-4447v > (256) 236-1447f
Guest guest
Hi Tammy! I'm new to the group and usually just lurk-n-learn. But I thought I'd surface to share a recent discovery --for me-- that I'm sure others know about! It's a *twist* on CP... known as whipped soaps. All ingredients are cold and then whipped. It can be piped like frosting a cake and shaped into various shapes -- whatever your imagination allows, flowers, cupcakes, snowmen, etc. It looks like a lot of fun. Apparently the soap will float too. I think I'll be experimenting over the winter! Here's a *How To* link to the process: http://candleandsoap.about.com/od/coldprocesssoapmaking/ss/whippedsoap ..htm Enjoy!
