KAFFIR AND TEMPLE PERFUMES LAUNCHED

 

This past week saw the official launch of the two new perfumes in my line,

Kaffir and Temple. There are already wonderful reviews coming out on

them, in perfume forums and blogs. They are taken by the fact that I

paired two very unusual citruses, the Kaffir lime petitgrain, and

distilled sweet orange juice, as the topnotes in the respective

perfumes. Adding to their delight is the fact they can compare two very

different agarwoods used in the respective bases, golden agarwood in

Kaffir, and Oud in Temple.

 

WHY THEY'RE SPECIAL

 

Kaffir captivates your nose with the glorious sophisticated lemon/lime

top notes, then swoons into a green and jasmine heart, drying down to a

sexy and leathery and spicy/wood. A reviewer with a lot of perfume savvy

noted on her blog that it's really unusual to pair citrus and leather,

and I have to say I love it, and she does too. People sniff Kaffir

perfume and a big smile comes to their face, and they say " Wow! "

 

Temple opens up sparkling like a fresh glass of cold orange juice in the

morning kissed with a camphorous kiss, then keeps popping in and out of

the Zuko-style heart, and you realize on the drydown that the deep,

incense-y persistent fragrance is the precious, exotic, and prized Oud,

known for its powers to help people into a meditative state. A little

secret? the borneol with the camphor-note and many of the spicy oils

used in the heart also help calm and center a person. When people sniff

Temple they say " Ahhh. "
