Guest guest
Hi all . . . I have not posted for sometime due to some serious family issues and have recently began to recover (mentally) and get back to life. I am struggling with a pituitary problem and can not get into the endocrinologist until late January. Wonder if anyone else has had this problem and can give me advice (herbal help??) until I am seen and can get SOMETHING to help. It is such a long story and I will not bore you with details but it sums up to the pituitary not telling the thyroid to function properly. In addition, the prolactin is elevated, TSH and T4 are low. The lab failed to handle the blood properly so the growth hormone test could not be completed. I am a mess . . . I get up as tired as if I worked all day and I struggle to make it through the day. I just started taking a liquid vitamin/mineral supplement and praying it helps. I am in the middle of a huge project at work and feel totally overwhelmed. Any way to build up the thyroid with some herbal remedy??? Thanks for any assistance you can give. . . ..I am desperate! LOL!! -Helen
Guest guest
Helen, I know what you're dealing with. I have a health food store near me that sells a thyroid supplement and whole pituitary (glandulars) I was subclinical hypothyroid and I had gone up to 200 lbs... I went and got this stuff (Made by atrium) and immediately I felt better... I'm now on the pituitary because i honestly have been feeling the same way you feel... This is not a diagnosis etc. I'm just telling you what helped me... I'll see if I can find a link to the supplements I use. I wouldn't tell anyone about em if they didn't work for me... Jennifer (btw.. it's not a mlm company either I abhor those things) Helen wrote: > > Hi all . . . Guest guest
Coconut oil is what I used for my hypothyroid. I have no more issues with low energy. http://www.coconutresearchcenter.org/ <snip> Supports thyroid function. Promotes loss of excess weight by increasing metabolic rate. Is utilized by the body to produce energy in preference to being stored as body fat like other dietary fats. I get mine in 5 gallon buckets from http://www.wildernessfamilynaturals.com/virgin_coconut_oil_centrifuged ..htm Debbie , " Helen " <worth249 wrote: > > Hi all . . . I didn't go to glandulars as a first choice. I tried oh so many things that I had to resort to the glandulars... I just was sick and tired of being sick and tired... Did you know you can use Coconut oil for yeast infections too... Jennifer
Guest guest
Yes, we use it for quite a few things around here. I'm on the coconut oil and a couple of candida lists.
