Going in for a little Surgery... Now Kinda O/T

Be prepared to be looked at like you're insane, and

asked " Why would you want to be awake? " You will also

need to clear it with the anesthesiologist.

 

Overall, I thought it was a good way to go. Although I

had major itching on my legs after surgery, which they

said was probably a reaction to the epi.Not everyone

gets that though. I recommend you arrange to take a CD

player, ipod, etc in to surgery though because you

might get a little bored after awhile. I brought in a

creative visualization CD in with me that was

specifically designed for patients undergoing surgery.

Thanks again and to everyone else too...I really don't want to stay overnight

but if I have to then I'll just have to suck it up I guess...my main concern,

which is why I was asking about eo's is the staph infection situation...I

personally know 5, healthy, health conscious people who have had it, one got it

in the hospital. I'm bringing my own soaps, salves, vials of oils, etc.
