Guest guest
Hey Vicki, Butch is it a secret where you get your bottles, i'm looking for dark > bottles like that, in larger sizes also? > No secret .. the bottles are out of Switzerland and there is an exclusive distributor in the USA. Some folks get bottles from that dealer and then resale them at a higher price. I have always believed that Miron Violet is superior to any other glass made .. and though they are more costly we have used them for retail sizes since opening shop in 1999 .. intend to keep using them. I don't use them for wholesale sizes because folks don't store those sizes long .. they pour into their own bottles for resale. So we use Amber for wholesale. As far as I know there are less than five companies in the USA that use only Miron Violet for retail and we were one of the first .. my initial investment to open my company included pallets of the various sizes .. a large investment it was for sure .. and since then we have ordered many more times. That source is Michael Sopkiw in California .. email is MironUSA .. his address is here .. http://www.miron-glas.com/e/business-partners-usa.html Some very good info on Miron Violet .. http://www.luminanti.com/mironvioletglass.html ..
