Dreaming With Scent?

Hey folks,

I'm going to ask a twist on the old do you dream in color or black and

white question .. do you dream with scent?

I totally smell things in my dreams! Whether its a flower or the breath

of a bear close to me, or the scent of a friend whom I've not seen in

person in years .. I smell 'em and I was wondering if this is " normal "

or unique, or maybe its unique to folks who are more perceptive of their

sense of smell than the general population, especially by trade.

Chris, I don't usually remember smells in my dreams but there have

been a few, very vivid dreams when I was actually able to remember the

smells when I woke up and it was so real it was hard to believe it was

a dream and I can still remember them years later. Susan

How fascinating! It never even occurred to me

that that might be possible. I don't even hear

in dreams, now that I think of it. I just SEE.

I do dream glorious landscapes, and often become

aware of being in a dream state while I am

admiring them.

Aren't we the most fascinating critters!

I don't generally dream with scent (or if I do, I don't remember),

but occasionally I wake up remembering the sensation of touch in my

dreams - like running my fingers through somebody's hair, or touching

a cold marble wall.

I dream in color. What does that mean? If I sleep at night, I have a lot of

nightmares, however if i sleep in the daytime, I get no nightmares and more

rest.
