Guest guest
Whoohoo! KD, if you could come up with the recipe for Extracting Panax Ginseng into Water, it would be the best Christmas present of my days! Here is what the write up says about a case that I have on hand. Red Panax Ginseng Extract(Oral Liquid) Supposedly, it is grown at Mt Chung Bai of China. For the most part tho, most of the Chinese ginseng is used for Royalty, etc. They tend to import mega lbs of American Ginseng and use it as it's some of the best in the World. Korean ginseng won't do, or some of the others. Ingredients: Distilled water, an extract of Red Panax Ginseng Extract in a honey base. Yep, that's right...it's an extract of an extract in a honey base. hmmmm Content: Each 10ml (0.35 Fl. Oz) bottle contains a standardized extract of 25mg active ginsenosides from 600 mg premium quality Red Panax kirin & Shih Chu Ginseng Roots. The Panax ginseng along with the wild American one are the highest quality in the World. Neither of them will raise your blood pressure as will Korean, Siberian, and others. Of course there are all these tall tales that have been around forever about how the drink is the fountain of youth, good for everything that ails you, make your love life wonderful, and the last one that is proven is: it will give you a bit of energy and give you feeling of well being. Sometimes this Red Panax is mixed with Gotu Kola, or golden seal, or even Royal Jelly. Express stores sometimes have them and sell them one at a time for a quick pick me up. They come in cases of 30 bottles with each glass vial being 10cc. The case I have now is an Extra Strength at 6000 mg of ginseng. There are several companies that make it. This one is by 'Royal King'. On the box it says Red Panax Ginseng Extract~NON Alcoholic Beverage Tonic for man. It also says it is made from 12 year old Red Panax Roots. Their motto is: " Life is short, have the best " It can be drank straight from the bottle or with tiny straws they provide, or mixed into hot or cold water for a Tea beverage. Anyone that ever tries it always seems to like it. Since the ancient Pyramids and tombs have been found to have honey that is still viable after generations, I'm guessing that they use the honey not only for taste, but it's medicinal properties, and as a preservative. Thanks a bunch in advance if you can find out anything about the Panax Ginseng. Private labeling: Many companies will make your labels in addition to processing your eo order. All you have to do is give em a call and ask if they will do your labels for you. Tammy at Elements sells the water proof labels. She might do runs of labels for a price for you. She always runs an ad on this list on Thrusdays. The Water Proof labels work great in the rain, but they will get smeared with oil running down the side of the bottle. There are thousands of companies that deal in private labeling for their resellers. Just ask, and you might just receive. A lot of them will do it for nothing or for a small fee. It's all a part of their customer service. Other than that, you will need to design a label and send it to a printer for an estimate. If you are doing that many labels, a professional might be worth your while. Also, they have that most wonderous Vynal? Plastic coated labels that won't run even with oils. Good luck to you with your new store and automating those labels! A most Fragrant Holiday Season to you all, deb Be a better friend, newshound, and know-it-all with Mobile. Try it now. Deborah, I have a LOT to say about this whole subject in general and a few points of your post in particular, but I am covered over for the next couple of days and I recently moved so my very best resources are still packed. I will take on the subject when I can come up for air, and will see what I have stored on the computer as to references. If more questions come up that tax my memory or that cannot be researched on my computer, they will have to await the new year and unpacking. Meanwhile, do not despair, I think we can solve your problem (although it might not be easy, quick or cheap, however, IMHO will be much more satisfying because you will know exactly what you have when you are finished.)
