Guest guest
Hallo Maria! I live in B.C., the California of Canada, but I am originally from the Netherlands. Where in Holland do you live? It is pretty hard to do self-sufficient things there, so I am curious to hear what you can pull off! Ien in the Kootenays http://freegreenliving.com (blog) ( the Oldest post on my blog is: How a nice girl from Amsterdam ended up living in a tipi on a mountain in BC)

Guest guest
Dear Cath, Thank you for your welcom! I have to disappoint you: i.m.o. Holland is n't a breathtaking country...I think when you go up (scandinavian countries --I visited Norway) or down (Belgium, France, Spain, Italy) are way better then Netherlands. I guess I like space more then we have in the Netherlands. I also love to take photographs! and I did take a lot on my trips abroad. I love the desert! But I guess it must be difficult to live there? Guest guest
Dear Maria: So what are your interest by the way of lotions, soaps, etc. what do you make? You have a very nice name. My daughter's middle name is Maria. she is 31yrs old, I am exactly 20 years older than her, so its easy math...lol well, beauty is a perception right? (smile) Actually I love living here and no it isn't difficult. Phoenix, AZ is Arizona's state captial and there are about one million people here. the desert is beautiful. Its dry and never gets cold to freezing degrees therefore it does not snow. its called the valley of the sun. Its warm and happy here and the sunsets and sunrises there are no words for they are without a doubt the most beautiful I have ever seen. I would love to see any photos from your stomping grounds, do you have photos on our group place for photos. I have a few I uploaded just today. Anytime if you want to share photographs or art, poetry just email me. I love that sort of stuff. Thank! Cath K
